so this weekend i went to Laramie Wyoming. i was soooo cold. and when i said that one of my brothers friends said no it's not, it's hot today.

Guantanamo Bay

President Obama has given executive orders. one closing the prison on Guantanamo Bay, that is said to torture its prisoners. This also put a stop to two trials. The two suspects in these trials were suspected of being responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Obama said these orders were given because of the torture the prisoners supposedly endured.

Pretty risky first move Obama. The families of the victims of 9/11 are probably furious.

so America has its first black president. i don't understand why it's such a big deal...he's just another man. i think he'll do a good job. anyway it can't get any worse can it? one thing that worried me was his talk of pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan, what will this result in? good thing is he realizes Americas problems, that's the first step.

when Martin Luther King Jr. made his speech " i have a dream" he wanted total equality between all men and all races.

i think we are getting closer to that with every generation....but there will always be racists. it all depends on the area and the way that children are brought up. i don't think kids are raised with enough open mindedness.

if everyone was more accepting, racial problems would be severely decreased.

Christmas break

my break was so good...but not long enough!
i got a lot of nice things for xmas. and new years was so fun. i went to a bon fire with some friends. it was SOOO cold!!!
now we're back at school which sucks! lol

Im sooo excited. christmas is the best time of year! everyone is in such a good mood

then about a month after christmas it is........MY BIRTHDAY!!!
